One of the great pieces of music in Western Civilization and definitely in the top five of all-time choral masterworks is Bach’s magnificent St. Matthew Passion. After our critically acclaimed collaboration with Musica Angelica last season in the Bach B Minor Mass, we welcome them back to perform on period instruments. This year’s collaboration will be an authentic interpretation of this masterwork and promises to be a memorable performance.
